Tylynn Register, better known by her ring name Lainey Reid, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where she performs on the NXT brand.[1]

Initially wrestling under her real name, she adopted the ring name Lainey Reid on February 16, 2024. She primarily appears on NXT Level Up and has competed against performers including Jazmyn Nyx and Adriana Rizzo.

Notable Matches and Feuds

  • May 24, 2024: Competed against Jazmyn Nyx on NXT Level Up. Despite a strong performance, Reid was defeated following a Pele kick by Nyx.[2]
  • October 4, 2024: Faced Adriana Rizzo on NXT Level Up. Reid delivered a vicious knee strike and a twisting suplex but was pinned after a split-legged somersault attack by Rizzo.[3]
  • October 18, 2024: Defeated Layla Diggs on NXT Level Up by using the ropes for leverage during a pinning combination.[4]
  • November 22, 2024: Defeated Tyra Mae Steele on NXT Level Up[5]
  • November 29, 2024: Teamed with Kali Armstrong against Tyra Mae Steele and Layla Diggs on NXT Level Up. Despite Reid's aggressive offense, her team lost the match.[6]
  • December 6, 2024: Defeated Layla Diggs on NXT Level Up after delivering a knee strike to the face.[7]
  • December 27, 2024: Participated in a six-woman tag team match on NXT Level Up, teaming with Wendy Choo and Kali Armstrong against Layla Diggs, Carlee Bright, and Kendal Grey. Reid's team lost the match.[8]

Confrontation with Jacy Jayne

On the June 3, 2025, episode of NXT, following Jacy Jayne's victory to become the new NXT Women's Champion, Lainey Reid interrupted Jayne's celebration. Reid introduced herself and stated, "Jacy, Jacy. Hi, sweet cheeks. I'm Lainey Reid, it's so nice to meet you. And last week, you proved to everybody that anything is possible by beating Stephanie Vaquer. And with this division being so stacked, I was gonna wait my turn, but then I realized, you are the most beatable champion of all-time."[9]

This confrontation sparked a major brawl involving several members of the women's locker room, all vying for a shot at the NXT Women's Championship.[10]
