Weird editing

ROHA vandal
He turned up again! If you know a friendly admin, it might be worth getting them to add {{sprotect}} to Pizza Hut to stop IP addresses editing it for a while. I'm going off Wikipedia now - thanks for the help! Stephenb (Talk) 13:11, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Speculation?
Actually, what I wrote was not speculation but information that I found from an article. A few articles dealing with Freddie both state that he was supposed to have been a fan of Lata Mangeshkar, per his own parents. And it's true he did not comment on this during his lifetime (in fact, he hardly commented at all on his Indian background). I think it should be mentioned as one of his earlier favourite, non-rock singers. -User: Afghan Historian

Why you would undo my edit removing "Basically, dude like yeah here goes the main article. Man I;m wasted," putting it back into the article, and then leaving a message for me about vandalism is beyond me. If you are using an anti-vandalism program you need to be more careful about it because I reverted that article twice and you still left the vandalism in the article, someone else had to take it out. Definately a bug. The logs don't show this user getting admin status. I think VandalProof isn't case sensitive; in this case, report it to AmiDaniel as this bug could get nasty. Also, consider reporting the user; his username is too similar to User:Jay's. Mopper Speak! 01:36, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Anger22, its Afghan Historian. I added the Lata Mangeshkar thing, remember? Well I found a cite for that, so that's settled. However, theres a vandalism issue on the Freddie Mercury page. Some guy keeps on stressing that Freddie Mercury was Iranian Persian as opposed to Indian Parsi (what he really was). The Parsis are descended from Zoroastrian Persians but have lived In India for more than a thousand years, have mixed with Indians (per genetics; recent findings) and speak Gujarati, not Persian. Calling them Iranians doesnt make any sense. This guy is bent on keeping Mercury as "Iranian" because apparently Mercury himself said so (when really it was just a rouge to hide his background as most people agree, who've read his offical biographical material). The birth certificate cite by his name also states him as Indian. Please can you change it? Thanks. -Afghan Historian 05:44, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
