The Order of Oman (Arabic: وسام عمان, romanizedWisam al-Oman) is the second highest order of Oman.[1]

Civil Order of Oman

The Civil Order of Oman (Arabic: وسام عمان المدني, romanizedWisam al-Oman al-Madaniu) is the second highest civilian order in the country. It was instituted in 1970 by Sultan Qaboos bin Said and is made up of five class. The first class is regularly awarded to foreign heads of state and high ranking members of the Omani royal family.

The Honourable Order of Oman (Wisam Al-Sharif Al-Oman) is a special class of the order instituted in 1982. It's unclear if the special class is still awarded.

The Military Order of Oman (Arabic: وسام عمان العسكري, romanizedWisam al-Oman al-Easkariu) is the highest ranking military order in the country. It was instituted by Sultan Qaboos bin Said in 1970 and is made up of five classes.
