Люди Инвалиды (Lyudi Invalidy), Disabled People, is the second Russian album by the duo t.A.T.u, released on October 19, 2005.

Lyudi Invalidy

The album includes two songs from the English album, Dangerous and Moving, (Loves me not, All About Us), All About Us was unmodified, but Loves Me Not was remixed for the release. The musical arrangement of "Loves Me Not" has been given what is described as a "Russian feel" that makes it completely different from the western rock feel of the international version. Also, two previously recorded songs from the show Поднебесная (Podnebesnaya)- which was between the period of January to March 2004 - (Ты Согласна, Что не хватает), popular songs from live performances (Ничья, Обезянка ноль), and Russian versions of songs from Dangerous and Moving ,the English version of album Люди Инвалиды. Although "Ты согласна" and "Что не хватает" appeared during Podnebesnaya, the versions that appear on the album are different from those early demos. A minor change has been made in the song Ничья which has been sung live numerous times; in the version that appears on the album, there has been a change of one word in the lyrics. The song Люди Инвалиды was also recorded with their former producer, Ivan Shapovalov

The title of the album caused much confusion among listeners, especially those that did not have an understanding of Russian. Люди Инвалиды does not mean "Disabled/Handicapped People" as a simple and direct translation would suggest, but a deeper, more emotional disability that overpowers and harms every aspect of the disabled person's life. As Yulia said in an interview with the Russian Bravo Magazine when explaining who the Люди Инвалиды were, "...we are not talking about a physical disability, but only about the moral disabilities - they all have crippled souls." [1]. The closest English translation available is "People around who are disabled".
