This article is about minor droids in the fictional Star Wars universe. It includes specific droids rather than droid types (such as protocol droids and battle droids for instance.)

2-1B

Template:SW Droid

2-1B (also spelled out in literature as Two-Onebee) is an Imperial medical droid who decided voluntarily to work for the Rebel Alliance instead. 2-1B was the head medic in Luke's recovery from the wampa attack on Hoth. For this reason, Luke chose 2-1B to be the droid that attached his cybernetic hand in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. An advice column written in his persona would briefly appear in the Star Wars Insider. A droid of his type (though is is unconfirmed if it is him) can be seen working on Darth Vader in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

4-LOM

Template:SW Droid

4-LOM is a droid bounty hunter, with an insectoid head, who was hired by Darth Vader to find the Millennium Falcon. His name may be an acronym for "For Love of Money."

4-LOM was working as a cabin steward on a luxury liner when trouble with his programming caused him to begin to steal from the passengers. When Jabba the Hutt became aware of 4-LOM he modified the droid to make him more dangerous. While working for the Hutts, 4-LOM was teamed with the bounty hunter Zuckuss. 4-LOM's body is similar in design to C-3PO, due to the fact that the LOM hardware is Industrial Automaton's knockoff of Cybot Galactica's 3PO series, and the LOM series was discontinued due to legal suits from CG regarding its hardware.

4-LOM appears only in the film The Empire Strikes Back. He was unsuccessful in his search for the Falcon which was found by Boba Fett.

There is some confusion as to which character is Zuckuss and which is his partner 4-LOM, due to their names being switched on their Kenner action figures.

After the Battle of Hoth, Zuckuss and 4-LOM rescued the last transport, Bright Hope. They later decided to leave the Empire's service and join the Rebels, planning to start the New Republic's Bounty Hunter Guild. However, these plans were dashed when Boba Fett blew 4-LOM apart. Even though Zuckuss repaired his partner, 4-LOM never remembered the Rebels' ideals. From that point on, 4-LOM worked alone.

A-3D0

Template:SW Droid

A-3D0 is a multitalented service droid owned by Jedi Andur Sunrider. A-3D0 is a crack mechanic and copilot who witnessed his master's death at the hands of a criminal gang headed by Great Bogga the Hutt some 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. Called ThreeDee for short, the droid then aided Andur's wife, Nomi, as she reluctantly trained to learn the ways of the Jedi.

AV-6R7

Template:SW Droid

AV-6R7 was a supervisor droid during the construction of the second Death Star. He was deprived of arms for failing to keep track of a power droid, but appears to have been given replacement ones. AV-6R7 was working on the bridge of the Executor and was destroyed when Arvel Crynyd's A-Wing crashed through the outer hull.

OOM-9

Template:SW Droid

OOM-9 was a command battle droid in the Trade Federation army. He was in charge of the Naboo invasion force. He nearly defeated the Gungan Grand Army, but the destruction of the Droid Control Ship deactivated all battle droids, including OOM-9.

When Nute Gunray held his position as Viceroy of the Trade Federation, thanks to Darth Sidious, he was chosen to be a member of the CIS by Count Dooku. Viceroy Gunray agreed on the condition that Senator Padme Amidala be assassinated. Even though Jango Fett's bounty hunter failed to kill the Senator twice, and Obi-Wan Kenobi was investigating the attempts, Dooku assured Gunray that she would die and Gunray joined the Confederacy. Now under jurisdiction of Dooku, Nute was ordered to capture Kashyyyk as a sign of Separatist power. He reactivated OOM-9 to lead the Trade Federation army. OOM-9's smashing victory against the Wookiees prompted the Trade Federation to make the droid their general.

General OOM-9's first battle in the Clone Wars was the Battle of Geonosis. He commanded the army from the Spire, but he was forced to retreat aboard a Trade Federation Battleship to escape when the Clones advanced too close. OOM-9 next served the CIS in the Attack on Muunilist. He fought well, but was almost destroyed by General Obi-Wan Kenobi while attempting to protect San Hill, Chairman of the Intergalactic Banking Clan. General OOM-9's final battle was that of Hypori, where he was shot down from his AAT Tank by a Republic LAAT Gunship, putting General Grievous in more direct control of the droid army.

R4-P17

Template:SW Droid

R4-P17 was an astromech droid in the fictional Star Wars universe. She accompanied Obi-Wan Kenobi in his Jedi starfighter and Jedi Interceptor on many missions, including the Battle of Geonosis in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. She accompanied Anakin Skywalker during his hunt for Asajj Ventress.

Despite her R4 designation, she had the dome of the R2-series astromechs, not the cone shape of the R4.

R4-P17's "life" was ended when her head was ripped off by a buzz droid during the Battle of Coruscant in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. She was replaced by a different droid named R4-G9 when Obi-Wan travelled to Utapau.

R5-D4

Template:SW Droid

R5-D4 (who Luke incorrectly called an R2) was the name of the red robot that Luke Skywalker's Uncle Owen Lars originally intended to purchase instead of R2-D2. Within seconds of the purchase, R5-D4's motivator malfunctioned, and the otherwise shifty Jawas let Owen have R2-D2 instead. Although a minor incident, had R5-D4's motivator lasted even minutes longer, the entire Star Wars story would not have unfolded.

When Luke bought R5-D4, the droid seemed reluctant and even complained. Some say R5-D4, not wanting to split up the duo of R2-D2 and C-3PO, blew his own motivator. Some say R2-D2 himself had tampered with it (the version of events dramatized in the radio adaptation). Most say the R5 series was poorly designed from the start, which is stated in the book "The Essential Guide to Droids."

After the sandcrawler was attacked by stormtroopers, another group of Jawas scavenged the craft, including R5-D4, refurbished it, and sold it to Voren Na'al. With the help of Momaw Nadon, Na'al programmed it to record everything it saw, and sold it to the local Imperial administrator.

RA-7

Template:SW Droid

The RA-7 Protocol droid was designed by the Arakyd Industries and assigned to high ranking members of the Imperial military. Unbeknownst to most, the RA-7's were secretly programmed by the Imperial Security Bureau to function as spies and gather information on their masters. Periodically, these droids would make cladestine contact with the ISB, relaying the information they've gathered.

Eventually, rumors about the RA-7's true purpose began to circulate and some Imperial officers began to conviently and quietly "lose" their droids, and as a result, a large number of them were stationed on the first Death Star, leading to them being nicknamed Death Star droids. They were subsquently destroyed along with the battle station at Yavin 4.

TC-14

Template:SW Droid

TC-14 was a silver protocol droid onboard the command ship of the Trade Federation in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. She greeted Jedi ambassadors Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi upon their arrival and escorted them to the conference room. While the Jedi waited, TC-14 reported to Viceroy Nute Gunray that the ambassadors were Jedi knights. TC-14 was sent back into the room to serve the Jedi drinks as a distraction while the Trade Federation destroyed their ship and prepared toxic gas and battle droids to kill the Jedi.

The room filled with the opaque vapors, and TC-14 was the first to leave the room, saying "Excuse me" as she passed the battle droids waiting for the Jedi. But Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had survived the assassination attempt, and quickly dispatched the droids, eventually boarding a Trade Federation invasion craft to make their way to the surface of Naboo.

As for TC-14, she was apparently destroyed when the Trade Federation command ship was accidentally blown up by Anakin Skywalker during the Battle of Naboo, although the movie never makes this implicitly clear.

She is also the first character you unlock in the video game Lego Star Wars for the PS2 and Xbox consoles.

WA-7

Template:SW Droid

WA-7 is the name of a unicycled Waitress Droid in Dexter Jettster's Coruscant diner. Her voice is extremely obnoxious and is supposed to resemble a diner waitress' voice. She competes with the human waitress Hermione Bagwa.
