Saline Middle School is a middle school in Saline, Michigan. It currently houses grades 7-8. As of 2005, there are about 60 staff members and 900 students.
For the 2006-2007 school year, the middle school moved into the "old" high school building (which had been vacant for two years) on Maple Road. At roughly 23,225 m² (250,000 sq ft), the building is more than double the size of the now vacant Saline Liberty School. The Middle School also now houses the Saline Senior Center in one of buildings wings. There is room for 1,100 students in the new facility.
Electives
Saline Middle School's elective courses run every day, with 2 elective classes per day. At the 1/2 year mark, the students switch their electives for two others they chose. (Note: Students taking Band only have one new elective at the half year mark, as the band elective runs for the whole year).
