Sophia Dashing is an American pop singer-songwriter and dancer based in Atlanta, Georgia.[1][2][3]
Early life
[edit]Sophia Dashing was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.[3] She began exploring the performing arts at the age of six, engaging in both dance and singing from a young age. she later trained at Atlanta Dance Studios and was signed by Bloc South Talent Agency, which led to appearances on national television as a dancer.[4]
Career
[edit]In 2021 Sophia Dashing released her debut single, "High Priestess," followed by "Way I"[5] and "Still in love."[6] her music has accumulated notable streaming numbers across platforms.[5] In 2022, she was recognized as "Best Singer-Songwriter" by Jezebel Magazine.[7] The same Year, she performed at Atlanta pride, appearing alongside artists such as Flo Rida and Betty Who.[8]
In 2024, Sophia Dashing collaborated with Swedish pop artist Manda Malina on the single "Raindrops (On Your Pillow)," a track noted for its fusion of Y2K pop and contemporary R&B influences. [9]
