Laurence A. Soderblom (born 1944) is a geophysicist with the Astrogeology Science Center at the United States Geological Survey in Flagstaff, Arizona where he has served as Chief of the Branch of Astrogeology.[1] Soderblom is best known for his work in imaging science.[2]

He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in geology and physics from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a PhD in planetary science and geophysics from Caltech.[1]
