Shafay Hussain was born on April 26 , in Lahore, pakistan. he was raised in Lahore and attended [[Bellerbys College|Bellerbys college]], UK. Aswell as [[Hamilton College (England)|Hamilton college]], UK. After which he obtained a degree in Business Administration & Management. After college he returned to pakistan and started to start his own businesses, the main of which included Kunjah Textile Mills, which he later discontinued. He has been in politics since 2004 but never got the opportunity to run for elections, as according to him he was not allowed to before, but in 2024 he finally got the chance to contest in his first ever elections from gujrat ([[PP-31 Gujrat-V|PP-31]]) alongside his brother, [[Chaudhry Salik Hussain]] (NA-64), through his party [[Pakistan Muslim League (Q)|PML-Q]] also known as PML. on Febuary 9 it was announced that he won, and later proceeded to become the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Industries and Commerce. Shafay is also known to be a very humanitarian man, known to donate money to charity whenever possible, standing strong for the Palestinian cause, and helping the poor in any way possible.
