:Why would I be blocked for something that is accurate?! This is why I fucking hate editing Wikipedia because multiple accounts that have been blocked & having to create a new account! This is bullshit & I’m posting this on social media saying how fucked up this website is! Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Finally Out of P.E., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 13:29, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

According to B-Sides (Avril Lavigne album) Wikipedia page Falling into History is written by Avril Lavigne, Jessica Sheely & Peter Zizzo & it says that the rights were sold to Brie Larson in 2005! I know my facts! PopPunkFanBoi69 (talk) 18:28, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia itself is an unreliable WP:USERGENERATED source per WP:CIRCULAR. Reliable sources are necessary for verification when adding content to articles per WP:BURDEN - see Help:Referencing for beginners for a guide to citing sources and WP:RSP for a (non-exhaustive) list of reliable/unreliable sources. Waxworker (talk) 22:44, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
True but I’ve listened to the B-Sides (Avril Lavigne album) & have listened to Falling into History by Avril Lavigne & it’s the exact same song as Brie Larson’s! Falling into History was originally intended for Avril Lavigne’s debut album Let Go but didn’t make the final cut! Look up Falling into History by Avril Lavigne on YouTube! It’s literally the same song! PopPunkFanBoi69 (talk) 00:33, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Personal experience listening to music is an unreliable source as its WP:OR - reliable sources need to say this or it shouldn't be on the article. I've also reverted some of your other unsourced edits - please stop adding unsourced content to articles. In particular, genres and uncredited roles must be sourced. Waxworker (talk) 10:16, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What did you all revert?! PopPunkFanBoi69 (talk) 17:05, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at List of rock genres, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 04:11, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at User talk:PopPunkFanBoi69. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. LakesideMinersCome Talk To Me! 03:51, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I didn’t attack myself I was educating User talk:Binksternet so I’m all of a sudden a bad guy! See this is why I hate editing Wikipedia because every edit I make that is accurate I completely get it reverted & blocked from editing so let’s just talk about that ok! PopPunkFanBoi69 (talk) 03:56, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You called me a "dumbass" and you closed with "fuck you!" I would definitely call that a personal attack. Regarding your edit to the List of rock genres, you added some pop and R&B entries, which are not rock. Binksternet (talk) 06:15, 16 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But they have alternative in front of Alt-Pop & Alt-R&B that it’s a fusion genre of Alternative & Pop & Alternative & R&B! You should know this?! Like get educated! Doy! PopPunkFanBoi69 (talk) 00:31, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of rock genres. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 01:34, 17 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
