The Simula at Wakas World Tour is the upcoming third world tour headlined by the Filipino boy band SB19, launched to support their third upcoming extended play (EP), Simula at Wakas (2025). The tour comprises of 19 shows that is set to commence on May 31, 2025, at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, with stops in major cities in the United States including San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Honolulu, and in international cities including Toronto in Canada, Singapore, and Dubai. Additional tour dates have yet to be announced.[1]
Background and development
Following the conclusion of the successful Pagtatag! World Tour, SB19 released their first full-length documentary film, Pagtatag!: The Documentary, in theaters.[2] During the film’s premiere night, group leader Pablo revealed that the group was working on their new extended play (EP), officially ushering in a new musical era titled Simula at Wakas. The EP's title had been first teased earlier by member Josh during the Japan leg of the Pagtatag! tour.
On January 31, 2025, SB19 released an official trailer across their social media platforms, unveiling Simula at Wakas as the title of their third EP.[3] The trailer also revealed key dates, including the EP’s release, the launch of its lead single, and the kickoff of an accompanying world tour to promote the project.
The initial leg of the Simula at Wakas World Tour included 19 concert dates, beginning with a massive kickoff show at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan on May 31, 2025.[4] The tour was announced to include stops across the United States, Canada, Taiwan, and Singapore. SM Tickets handled the local ticket sales for the kickoff shows, with ticket prices ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱15,000.[5] After the first date quickly sold out, a second-day show, scheduled for June 1, 2025, was added due to high demand.[6]
In the lead-up to the tour, SB19 members made several media appearances to promote both the EP and its corresponding concerts. The group performed on major Filipino variety shows including All Out Sundays and It's Showtime, showcasing previews of new music and engaging with fans nationwide.[7]
