The 2024–25 Serie A (known as the Serie A Enilive and Serie A Made in Italy for sponsorship reasons domestically and abroad, respectively) was the 123rd season of top-tier Italian football, the 93rd in a round-robin tournament, and the 15th since its organization under an own league committee, the Lega Serie A. Inter Milan were the defending champions.
On 23 May 2025, Napoli secured a fourth league title and a second in three seasons following a 2–0 victory against Cagliari on the final matchday of the season.[3]
Teams
Parma returned to the Serie A after three years, while Venezia returned after two.[4] Como were promoted for the first time since the 2002–2003 season—ending 21 consecutive years in the Serie B.[5]
Frosinone were relegated to the Serie B after just one year in the top league, while Salernitana enjoyed a three-year run before facing relegation. Sassuolo were relegated after an 11-season stint in the Serie A.[6]
