Diego De Giorgi, (born March 1970) is an Italian banker and businessman. He is currently the group chief financial officer (CFO) of Standard Chartered.[1]
Early life
[edit]Diego De Giorgi was born in March 1970 in Trieste, Italy. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University before completing a CEMS master’s degree at the London School of Economics. He holds Italian citizenship.
Career

[edit]In April 1994, De Giorgi joined Goldman Sachs. During his 18 years, including eight as partner, he held leadership roles in the Equity Capital Markets Group and the Financial Institutions Group before becoming the chief operating officer for the Global Investment Banking division.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch
