Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Born into a musically inclined family, Haifawi began his musical journey at the age of five, learning to play the keyboard, oud, and guitar. This early exposure to diverse instruments shaped his musical versatility. He formed his first band, Nashaz, during his school years with his colleague Basem Sayej, who is currently a singer with the Jordanian band Akher Zapheer. This band marked his initial foray into alternative rock.[1]

Career and Musical Contributions

Haifawi’s professional music career began with the release of his debut single Wainek Min Zaman in 2011. In a 2021 interview with Jordan News, he described his writing process as deeply personal, saying, “I write about myself, my experiences, and my struggles. My music comes out of my heart.” [2]

In 2020, he released his album Wahad which reflects a blend of Arabic and Western musical influences, highlighting his evolving style.[3]

Recognition and Performances

The single ''Wainek Min Zaman'' has garnered over 40 million views on YouTube and over 8 million streams on Anghami, marking significant online success.[4][5]

In August 2024, Haifawi was featured in the Amman Music Festival, one of Jordan's most prominent live music events. Held at the Bisharat Golf Club, the festival showcased leading names in the regional alternative scene. Haifawi performed alongside acclaimed artists such as Aziz Maraka and Autostrad as part of the Day 1 lineup.
