Kamino Running Co., also known as Kamino Running Club, is a community-based running organization based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.[1] Founded in late 2023, the group organizes public running events and social runs throughout the Tri-Cities region of Metro Vancouver.[2]

History

[edit]

Kamino Running Co. was established in November 2023 by Daniel Simpson, a local runner aiming to provide more structured opportunities for community engagement through running in the Coquitlam area.[1] The name derives from El Camino Drive, the street where Simpson grew up.[3] In late 2024, the organization held its first public race event at Mundy park called the "Rudolph Run".[3]
