Chloe Ann Elizabeth Adams.[1] was born on 21st January 1998[2] and is from Lichfield[3], but currently lives in Leicester. [4] She went to Edgbaston High School[5] and met her husband, Matt Lonsdale in 2017. They began writing songs in collaboration.[6]
Before releasing the original music became her living, she was the lead singer and acoustic guitarist in the wedding band[7][8], Just For Tonight[9].
Inspired by the pop-punk genre in her teens, Chloe would release cover renditions on Youtube such as 'Heartbeat Song - Kelly Clarkson Pop Punk Cover'[10].
After reacting to Chloe's cover on a youtube video with Glamour, Kelly Clarkson quoted "she's like a mix of me and Avril Lavigne".[11]
Her first ever independent release, 'The Doctor Said' was released in 2017. [12] It was written about experiencing mental health issues as a young person. The song went viral on facebook, gaining over 30 million views[13]. The release was followed by 'Pretty's On The Inside' which has accumulated over 100 million views across Youtube.[14].
These first songs secured Chloe’s first viral online hits showcasing her singer/songwriter roots. After attracting a large online following on TikTok, Chloe & Matt self-released the viral hit 'Dirty Thoughts'.[15] This was the lead single of her first EP, 'The Monster You Made Me'.[16] The second single, 'Dead To Me' was featured and had a big moment[17] in the Netflix teen movie 'Do Revenge'.[18]
