Gretel Killeen, host of Big Brother Australia

Gretel Killeen is an Australian famous author, newspaper columnist, TV personality and the current Host of Australian Big Brother.

She was born in 1963 in Turramurra, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia .

After dropping out from her Law Studies, she returned to Sydney, studied communications and performed stand up comedy, which she continued in for a few years before taking on voice-over works.

Gretel then moved into comedy writing which quickly expanded to cover, print and television.

Gretel is also a a regular panelist on Beauty And The Beast, an Australian TV debating show.

Her career break came when she was asked to host the Australian Edition of Big Brother.

In between Big Brother commitments. Gretel is also working as a successful freelance writer/author, an ambassador for UNICEF, full time single parent and she can also be heard on Sydney/Melbourne radio stations.
