The Hervey Range is located in New South Wales, Australia.
Interesting Facts
-The Parkes Radio Telescope which was formerly the largest dish in the Southern Hemisphere featured on the popular Australian movie "The Dish" is located right in front of the Hervey Range.
-A few years ago a fire escaped into the Hervey Range destroying a lot of bush and wildlife.
-The Alectown Bushfires which was under national attention came extremely close to escaping into the Hervey Range, there was a major effort to try and save the Hervey Range which were successful.
