Gascon language
Gascon language is a romance language mostly spoken on the South of France and in a small valley on the North of Spain (See Val d'Aran). The Gascon language comprises four dialects:
- Landais
- Béarnais
- Ariegois
- Aranès
See Ethnologue report for Gascon. Of these, only Aranès is spoken in Spain. Aranès have received a great influence from Catalan and Spanish, and thus differentiating it from its French counterparts.
