Maluso, officially the Municipality of Maluso (Chavacano: Municipalidad de Maluso; Cebuano: Lungsod sa Maluso; Template:Lang-fil), is a municipality in the province of Basilan in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao of the Philippines. The population was 45,730 at the 2020 census.[3] Template:PH electorate

On February 27, 2010, about 70 militants of the extremist Abu Sayyaf group attacked Tubigan village in Maluso, setting fire to homes and killing at least 11 people.[4]

In the 2020 census, Maluso had a population of 45,730.[3] The population density was 270 inhabitants per square kilometre (700/sq mi).
