Thank you very much 2chainz , I just read the policy stating use of "see also" although not against Wikipedia polices is a lazy way of addressing orphan articles. I'm sorry I'm being a bore, but if you could spare out time and suggest better ways for me. I would really be grateful [[User:Celestina007|Celestina007]] ([[User talk:Celestina007|talk]]) 19:26, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Do you have a problem with me?... What ever I post or edit gets issues from you, now you revert the post there when I just linked artistes names on the awards profile to their wiki pages, what is the reason for your revert now? For real. What is it you have against me??

Hey Oluwa2Chainz, how you doing? I want to inform you that in respect to the AfD relating to Deeper Life Bible Church, Lagos I have recently recreated the page Deeper Life Bible Church which I feel might do a little to ease the challenge we are facing. Do feel free to have a look at it and make corrections where necessary. And i want to also sincerely apologize for previous comments I've made at your talk page. I've recently gone over some of Wikipedia's policy and saw how wrong I was, I hope to keep learning especially from experienced editors like you Accept my apologies. Do have a good time editing.Mahveotm (talk) 20:53, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there Mahveotm, hope you enjoyed the holidays? I've gone through the article but a minor online check seems to prove that Deeper Life Bible Church is same as Deeper Christian Life Ministry. I have reverted the former as being a redirect to the later. Thanks for your contributions. --—Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 23:41, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Heello

Please what was your reason for requesting speedy deletion of the page "mpmania"? --Jefak007 (talk) 07:57, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contesting nomination of Deletion for KLY

Sir. I understand that you nominated South African singer KLY for deletion. My reasons for contesting your nomination is that KLY released an EP late last year that has been well received by thousands of South African R&B listeners. He has appeared in interviews such as Hip-Hop-Galaxy. he had also been interviewed by Slikour, whose opinion is heavily respected in the South African Hip Hop music industry. KLY re-released his project, now available for purchase on iTunes, and streaming on Apple Music And TiDal. He is climbing the air-play charts on radio stations such as YFM and UJFM. His music video with Riky Rick has been played over 40,000 times, which I consider makes him a notable subject. Am doing he frequently collaborates with other major South African musicians as well as other international artists such as Nigerian singers YCEE and Wizkid Ayo. He just finished his music video with Wizkid which Is soon to be released. He has Brennan named by many sources as the South African upcoming artist to watch in 2017. If his page is deleted now, you guys will regret it three months down the line.

Allow me time to cite more trustworthy sources verifying his notability. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PatrickPitso (talkcontribs) 13:53, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello PatrickPitso, I didn't place the AfD tag; but if you think the article shouldn't be deleted, you can comment here >> Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KLY (singer). --—Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 21:04, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In need of advice

Good day to you sir, I need advice on a situation, how do I treat a BLP, when reference provided is not impressive enough but you know in real life they are really famous, like in the case of several Nigerian celebrities.

Do I look away or insist it should be deleted? Celestina007 (talk) 22:10, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this article was requested for your contest, but another editor from Nigeria wants to delete it. Can you improve it? I found it tough to find good sourcing.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:31, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dr. Blofeld, I have improved the references and made few changes. Regards. --—Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 16:31, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Review - newsletter No.2

Hello Oluwa2Chainz,
A HUGE backlog

We now have 837 New Page Reviewers!
Most of us requested the user right at PERM, expressing a wish to be able to do something about the huge backlog, but the chart on the right does not demonstrate any changes to the pre-user-right levels of October.

Hitting 17,000 soon

The backlog is still steadily growing at a rate of 150 a day or 4,650 a month. Only 20 reviews a day by each reviewer over the next few days would bring the backlog down to a managable level and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
It didn't work in time to relax for the Xmas/New Year holidays. Let's see if we can achieve our goal before Easter, otherwise by Thanksgiving it will be closer to 70,000.

Second set of eyes

Remember that we are the only guardians of quality of new articles, we alone have to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged by non-Reviewer patrollers and that new authors are not being bitten.

Abuse

This is even more important and extra vigilance is required considering Orangemoody, and

  1. this very recent case of paid advertising by a Reviewer resulting in a community ban.
  2. this case in January of paid advertising by a Reviewer, also resulting in a community ban.
  3. This Reviewer is indefinitely blocked for sockpuppetry.

Coordinator election

Kudpung is stepping down after 6 years as unofficial coordinator of New Page Patrolling/Reviewing. There is enough work for two people and two coords are now required. Details are at NPR Coordinators; nominate someone or nominate yourself. Date for the actual suffrage will be published later.

Use of "see also"

Hello Mr, In my article "Charles Inojie" you regarded, described, and in your edit summary termed and tagged a "See Also" category as "not necessary" I am sorry if this is a rookie question but please can you explain how so ? Devotion to study of Wikipedian polices makes it clear to an editor, it is plausible reasoning and way to de-orphan an article.

Explaining this to me would be of great help. Do educate me on this sir. Celestina007 (talk) 21:35, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, using a See also section as a way of de-orphaning an article isn't right. Moreover, biographical articles do not necessarily need a see also section. —Oluwa2Chainz »» (talk to me) 11:08, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
