Who is this species named after?[edit]

I've tagged this as dubious as if it was named after the quoted person, the species name would surely be "Edward's" not "Edwards's"; also the name doesn't sound terribly French, so I'm led to believe it's suspicious. SP-KP (talk) 16:44, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to "Who's Bird?" it was named after Alphonse Milne-Edwards, who seems to have been French. Sabine's Sunbird talk 19:56, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
