No longer the largest?[edit]

Recent news reports say a Mexican man has been recognised by the World Record Academy as having the world's largest penis, measuring 18.9 inches (48.2 cm). The academy says: "Prior to his claim to having the longest penis in the world it is believed the honour belonged to an American man called Johan (sic) Falcon whose manhood measures a strapping 13.38 inches."[1] But I don't know if it has been officially verified. It seems to just be claims at this point. Melonkelon (talk) 03:09, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Someone would have to be mighty stupid to believe that article and its fake "X-ray". -- 184.189.217.91 (talk) 10:14, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Until the Mexican dude shows the goods, the story is fake. Any time he "whips it out", "it" is wrapped in layers of an Ace bandage. He could be slinging a storebought baloney for all we'd know. On the other hand, John C. Holmes and Daniel Arthur Mead were each considerably longer than Falcon, and there are plenty of photographs and movies to document it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:547:200:8020:2903:c5d5:466b:669e (talk) 22:18, 18 June 2017‎ (UTC)[reply]

Statutory rape[edit]

I added the statutory rape link to where it says "sexual experience" a while back. However, this was reverted with "remove WP:UNDUE biographical trivia, more objective phrasing" as the explanation. I would say "statutory rape" is a pretty accurate phrase to use in this case given that he was ten and the perpetrator was an adult. Prcc27 (talk) 04:56, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing that it took place where "statutory rape" was not a statute at the time, the removal seems justified, @Prcc27:. --198.98.255.237 (talk) 01:40, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Most jurisdictions with statutory rape laws don't use the term "statutory rape", but that still doesn't change the fact that what took place was indeed statutory rape. Falcon was below the age of consent, so that is the appropriate article to link to. Prcc27 (talk) 05:22, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

His measurements are clearly a lie, is there something that can done about it?[edit]

I've been searching on the internet for some more info about his claims and found this reddit post that contains a link to a video interview with him (NSFW), showing his penis, flaccid and erect. We can clearly see that it really is him (the face is identical) and we can also see that his erect size is clearly not 13.5 inches. That is roughly the distance between a pubic bone and a xiphoid (the lower end of the sternum) on an average man. His penis length is only about half of that distance, so in reality, it's about 7-8 inches.

I believe that Wikipedia should fight against myths, especially lies like this, that can make other people insecure about their anatomy. The question is, how.

I know that Wikipedia probably can't reference a porn video, but I still think that we should find a way how to make it more clear in this article that his penis size claims are just unreal claims of a liar. Up to this day, I always believed (since my age of 12 or so) that there are people on the planet that have 13.5 inches penis and that Jonah Falcon is their king. But most likely, it is not even possible and this guy is a liar making millions of men insecure about their anatomy.

I also think that removing the info about his penis from this Wikipedia page would not be the best decision. I think people searching "Jonah Falcon" on google should find a Wikipedia page that tells them that his claims are not real.

@Rihadavid: I am actually familiar with the porn video in question, and I also thought his penis looked rather small for a person with a "13.5 inch" cock.. One explanation could be that he was only semi-erect rather than having a full erection. If you have any reliable sources that question the authenticity of his claim, then we should add them and give due weight to those claims. It's worth noting that the article already says "Falcon has not authorized or permitted independent verification of this figure", which is definitely a start. Big penis claims are a dime a dozen[edit]

What's so special about Jonah Falcon's unverified claim about his penis size, that makes it so much more believable than anyone else's equally-grand claim? The article doesn't make that clear. 108.31.11.114 (talk) 09:10, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
