Hurricane relief donation

[edit]

In the wealth and philanthropy section it should be added that in October 2024, Swift made a 5 million dollar donation to help with hurricane Milton and Helene reliefs. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/oct/10/taylor-swift-donates-5m-hurricane-relief-efforts-helene-milton

personal life?

[edit]

no personal life section? Solemn1 (talk) 23:17, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

She is a superstar. Her life is well documented and no need for a dedicated section imo Cinaroot (talk) 04:53, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Meaning information about her personal life would go where? In the "Life and career" section? Also, as someone reverted the edit I made months ago, where I separated the "Early life" and "Career" sections. Would the mention of her 2016 hiatus be allowed to go in there? Jorge Lobo Dos Santos (talk) 20:32, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it would go there; that's the whole point of the subsection title being "Life and career", it encompasses both her career and her personal life (and early life). Would the mention of her 2016 hiatus be allowed to go in there? Its already mentioned in the 2014–2018 section: In late 2016, after briefly dating Tom Hiddleston, Swift began a six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn and retreated herself from the public spotlight. I don't think there's any more information to add there... Rfl0216 (talk) 20:41, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. Jorge Lobo Dos Santos (talk) 21:15, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It's insane how there's no personal life section. I'm convinced it's to avoid controversy because it would list the 100 men she's dated (im a swiftie i can say it) IAPETUSOUTSOLD (talk) 14:22, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Solemn1 There is already a life and career section which is effectively the section for her personal life. If you want a sub section in the section, I could discuss with other editors to see what they think. Thank you Servite et contribuere (talk) 07:27, 30 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
