Alumni[edit]

Should Emma Watson be listed here as she's still at the college so not technically an alumni yet? ChevronTango (talk) 11:07, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I would say that an alumnus/alumna is someone who has acquired some sort of qualification at a school/college/university/etc., but it rather looks as if the word now has a wider meaning which would include someone who spent some time at such an institution whether or not they received any qualification. As for Emma Watson, I see here that she'll have left Worcester by now, if this not-necessarily-reliable-source is to be believed, so she probably could be included in the alumni list. --GuillaumeTell 16:43, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:UK-2014-Oxford-Worcester College 02.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on March 25, 2017. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2017-03-25. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 01:23, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Emma Watson is only a one-year visiting student, she's not an officially Worcester's alumni.[edit]

According to the list of http://www.ox.ac.uk/about/oxford-people/famous-oxonians famous oxonians, Watson not included inside the list. Therefore her name was removed from the worcester's notable alumni list.Politsi (talk) 13:34, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Like other Oxford colleges, Worcester regards participants of its Visiting Student Programme for Junior Year Abroad students at American universities as full members of the College, with residency, Junior Common Room membership, and alumni status. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.68.13.182 (talk) 10:01, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see she has now been added. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:52, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article lists 74 notable alumni. There are currently images of five of these. On what basis have these been selected? Martinevans123 (talk) 13:58, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
