Marker of locator
[edit]Hi, the marker should be "bridge", so please correct that on data86 this way:
| header85 = Location
| data86 = {{#invoke:Infobox mapframe|auto|onByDefault=yes|mapframe-frame-width=250|mapframe-marker=bridge}}
| data87 = {{#invoke:Infobox mapframe|autocaption}}

- Please make the change in the sandbox and show it at work on the testcases page. – Jonesey95 (talk) 05:25, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

Per this discussion, could somebody make the change required (example) to have the red outline appear in the map? Abductive (reasoning) 08:24, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

Regex pattern error

- Not sure what's wrong but those coordinates seem to be causing the error. I've commented them out for now — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)

- Was it because the Wikipedia (or Wikidata) coordinates missed the bridge(s) as shown on OSM? Abductive (reasoning) 12:50, 13 September 2024 (UTC)

Description of suggested change: Remove the sizedefault and maxsize parameters from the image syntax. These parameters incorrectly cause the upright parameter not to work (see Module talk:InfoboxImage#Other size parameters cause upright to be ignored). They also prevent images from scaling with users' chosen thumbnail size, which is the behavior of most infoboxes. I've made this change in Template:Infobox bridge/sandbox.

Not done for now: It looks like the InfoboxImage module is getting a fix for this issue. Let's wait to see if it works. – Jonesey95 (talk) 11:37, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Jonesey95: Even with that fix, these parameters should not be used here. The sizedefault parameter is redundant to the default upright value; unlike the latter, sizedefault does not scale for users who have chosen different thumbnail sizes in their preferences. - You'd have to get consensus for that. I have made that same argument at other infobox talk pages and have been overruled by editors who claim that the guidelines do not apply. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:55, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
