The S Castro Shuttle is a Muni Metro line in San Francisco, California. It runs from Embarcadero Station downtown to the Castro Street Station during peak periods on weekdays. The S Castro Shuttle can also be found in service on days when there is a home game at AT&T Park and the line then extends to King and 4th Street. The entire line is within the Market Street Subway. Because the southwest end of the line is in the Castro, a well-known gay village, it is sometimes called "The Gay Train" (probably a parody of the A train in New York City).
