About me

[edit]

Hello, I'm Aeengath. I contribute primarily on topics in European history, military biography, and wartime memory. Much of my work focuses on the Balkans, the legacies of the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires and the lives of women and resistance figures. Je contribue aussi au French Wikipedia.

Editing philosophy

[edit]

I've created and expanded articles, brought content to Good Article status and rewritten structurally weak pages using academic sources in multiple languages. I aim to follow these principles:

  • Content quality – Writing that's well-sourced, neutral and readable, especially on sensitive topics, aligned with NPOV, V, DUE.
  • Structural clarity – Clean layouts and consistent citations. I use {{sfn}} and follow MOS:LAYOUT and CITE.
  • Biographical balance – Giving overlooked people, especially women and lesser known military or political figures the same attention as headline names.
  • Collaboration – I aim for CONSENSUS and good faith and try to keep things grounded in CONTENT, not contributors.

What to expect

[edit]

If I've reworked a section or raised a source question, it's always in the spirit of improvement. Nothing personal. If I've missed something or made a mistake, just drop me a note, always happy to talk it through. Thanks for visiting!
