The Iran War (Persian: جنگ ایران), also referred to as the Fourth Gulf War, was a war between Iran, leading a four-country coalition, and the United States, which headed a coalition of 52 countries. The war focused on successfully defeating pan-Islamist regimes and to stop the transportation of chemicals that would be processed to become nuclear weapons.

Course of the war

[edit]

On 6 July 2029, the United States led the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia, Iraq, and troops from the Kurdistan Region into Abadan after intercepting a radio signal indicating a terrorist attack on the city. The troops were unsuccessful at counterattacking the incident and retreated back into Iraq for several weeks to rehabilitate. Canada lost a majority of its troops due to injuries and retreated from the war on 27 July 2029.
