From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

OpenStreetMap is a free to use, openly editable geodatabase that is composed entirely of data collected by individual contributors and open data. It is commonly used on Wikipedia as the main freely available source for map data, in infoboxes, Wikipedia articles, flight path diagrams and more. However, learning to use OpenStreetMap when coming from Wikipedia may be difficult, and this guide aims to help a Wikipedia editor make basic changes to OpenStreetMap.
