My name is Beatrice Murch, I am a photographer, web designer, a lover of Free culture movement and the Open source movement and a frustrated Wikipedia user. I was heavily involved in Wikimedia Argentina, helping organize and document Wikimania in Buenos Aires in 2009. I was honored to be part of the board of Wikimedia Argentina from 2011 until leaving Argentina in 2018.

I am the daughter of Aggie & Walter Murch, granddaughter of Walter_Tandy_Murch & Philip_Slater_(cricketer), and the great granddaughter of Mary Elizabeth MacCallum Scott and Louise Tandy Murch. I worked at the Internet Archive as Brewster Kahle's assistant until 2006 when I traveled in South America to live in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires Argentina until 2018. I then moved to Utrecht with my husband and our young son. For years, I was a freelance photographer and Web Designer. I love the interweb and am fascinated by Wikipedia and the breadth of its scope.

As of late 2024, I work with the Internet Archive Europe.
