[edit]"...Ready For It?" is a track written and sung by Taylor Swift for her sixth studio album, Reputation. Swift was not the only writer on this song, she combined her expertise with producers such as: Ali Payami, Shellback, and Max Martin. The track was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden. This song is considered under the genre of Electropop. There are different elements of sound including hints of reggae and a bit of hip hop. We hear Taylor rap-sing over an abrasive electronic beat that stems from drum machines, bass drops, and heavy synthesizers. Seems as if Taylor pushed further into her electric revolution creating songs amongst this genre. Other songs of Swift's that have similar electric beats are: "Cruel Summer", "Question...?", and "Message In A Bottle". These songs listed are from Taylor's album(s): Lover, Midnights, and Red (Taylor's Version).

There is a mixed reaction noted in different news outlets about this song. Some were very positive, noting it was better than previous singles. Whereas, some were stating that it lacked lyrically, specifically that the lyrics do not match the music video that was produced.
Synopsis
The video features two different versions of Swift. This is interpreted as the battle between the Swifts; her true self and the media's perception of her.
Live Performances
Swift has continued to perform this song throughout her Eras Tour, most recently in Toronto, Canada on night five of The Era's Tour, November 22, 2024.
