[edit]Cancer is a term used to describe the abnormal growth of body cells. There are many different types of cancer and treatment options vary based on the grade, stage, and molecular nature of the tumor.
Treatment options in the western world have largely focused on chemotherapy, surgery, and/or radiotherapy. Untreated, most cancers will progress.
- Brain: oligodendroglioma, glioblastoma, ependymoma, medulloblastoma, pineocytoma, craniopharyngioma, pituitary adenoma, meningioma
- Eye: retinoblastoma, optic nerve glioma
