Inactive Clothing is a company started in Richmond Virginia. the motive behind the brand, ans stated by the owner, Chedza Nasim , is to, "Provide exposure for upcoming models, street skaters, and musicians. The brand also focuses on creating a new platform for teens to express themselves through design and fashion development. The entire structure of the company is based around local adolescents, and everything behind the brand is driven based on the force." The company was started on June 3rd, 2019 and it's first collection dropped that same day, titled "(chemical)". the name "(chemical)" refers to the chemicals that create and form love within the human mind, the painting featured throughout the collection is "David Holding the Head of Goliath" by Caravaggio. "The symbolism behind this is that David is holding the head of Goliath as if to say that anything is possible, even something as bizarre and inexplicable as love," says company owner Chedza Nasim.

Chedza Nasim has been skateboarding sine 2016, and has been filming and editing music videos since 2017. The company, Inactive , will support both of Chedza Nasim's passions, as well as create a platform for underground and under the radar creators to gain clout, and earn money. Inactive has releasied one limited collection titled "(mullen)" and plans on one collection being released on June 16th, 2019 title "(summer)". After these two collections have released, Inactive will begin to recruit influencers from the area, as well as create a modelling platform for highschool students in Richmond, Virginia.
