have no fear, i am here to re-imagine my mind đźŚ
I plan to use this platform to explore the essence of learning, the concept of knowledge, and systems of thought. I believe that an appetite for learning is a human virtue that we often overlook. In my quest to become a better person, I am willing to admit that I don’t know everything. I must consciously choose to nurture my intellect, and that choice exemplifies the beauty of free will each time I make it. To learn is to humbly witness the wonder of life. As modern Catholic thinkers suggest, learning’s value is intrinsic, not just instrumental, and it is directed at objects worth knowing for their own sakes: people, numbers, God, nature. On a less philosophical note, this is simply where I intend to collect, hoard, and eventually aggregate information that may or may not be used in projects that I will no doubt encourage myself to finish someday.
Contributions in communities such as Wikipedia and MediaWiki have allowed me to slowly reengage myself in genuinely exciting conversations that depend on its participants grappling with the crux of the conflict at its very base level.
Recently, I’ve developed a newfound interest in the precious metals and firearms industry. Working in these arenas has truly changed my perspective on the American struggle and what socially divides us. It has made me realize how fragile our egos can be. The dynamics of these industries have given me a deeper understanding of the economic and social factors that contribute to our divisions.
Here are some helpful links related to learning, knowledge, and systems of thought. I feel like these are your very base level, formative steps in the process of even glimpsing our brains' capacities and we feel the best when we use our minds to solve problems together.
