Article Evaluation-To Build a Fire By Jack London
[edit]- Page has been edited many times by many schools.
- Reviewing the revisions page (going through all previous versions) the page used to be very unorganized and chaotic.
- The page has an original research disclaimer (may need to look into that).
- The summary of the plot includes a line "He is followed by a native dog and is en route to visit his friends—ignoring warnings from an older man [an elder from the forest] about the dangers of hiking alone in extreme cold." The elder man from the forest is not necessarily stated in the original text. He is from Sulphur Creek in California, not the forest.
- Goes in-depth about the 1902 version of the story which I have not read.
- The summary also mentions him failing to make the fire. In fact he did not fail, rather he lit the fire and then it was put out by falling snow.
- I have cleaned up the ENTIRE talk page for "To Build a Fire" by Jack London. I condensed a lot of talk material and made some adjustments to headings. This is a user sandbox of HaydeB. You can use it for testing or practicing edits.
