Julian Rogers was born 1969 in Penzance, Cornwall.The first of four children.His mother descended from an old St.Ives fishing family which has been traced back to the 17th century.His father from London, studied in the 60's at cambourne school of mining.After which he worked in the cornish tin mining industry until its end in the 1980's. Julian grew up in St.Ives where his passion for the sea and countryside fueled his love of Art.On leaving school Julian was accepted at the renowned Falmouth School of Art and Design where he studied Illustration.
