Lassi Pensikkala is a Finnish economist, international business consultant, and entrepreneur. He is best known as the founder of AmerExperience.com, a platform offering curated travel experiences, golf content, and cross-cultural business insights.
Pensikkala studied economics, sociology, and psychology at the University of Hamburg in Germany. He lived in Germany for over two decades before relocating to Ecuador in 2009, where he has remained active in the tourism and business development sectors.
Pensikkala’s travel company, AmerExperience, has operated tours and experiences in Europe and Latin America. The business was profiled by Viator, a Tripadvisor company, as an example of successful small-scale global tourism entrepreneurship.[1]
He has also appeared in Ecuadorian media for his role in promoting tourism and international cooperation.[2]
His early career in Finland and Germany, as well as his relocation to Ecuador, were highlighted in a 2015 article by Taloussanomat, one of Finland’s leading business newspapers.[3]
Pensikkala has also written and self-published digital guides and eBooks, including Easing Flight Anxiety: A Comprehensive Guide and 37 Europe Travel Guides.
