About Me

I am a Wikipedia editor from Guernsey, Channel Islands. As a local resident, I am particularly interested in improving coverage of Channel Islands politics, politicians, and local affairs on Wikipedia.

I edit under my real name and take transparency seriously. I aim to improve the accuracy and usefulness of information available to the public, especially on topics of local importance.

Editing Disclosure

I am aware of Wikipedia's policies regarding paid editing and conflict of interest editing.

I have no financial relationships with any politicians in Guernsey or with any political parties. I do know many of them from when I hosted a podcast as a student (around 2017), but I have no active or paid relationships with them apart from being a voter, occasionally attending public events and questioning them in relationship to policies and journalism.

I have observed some issues and gaps in Guernsey political coverage on Wikipedia and felt there was a need for honest, useful, and accurate content. That is why I have contributed articles such as those for Carl Meerveld and Andrea Dudley-Owen.

For example, the page for Future Guernsey had been redirected to Forward Guernsey, despite these being entirely separate entities, as confirmed to me by Gavin St Pier at the recent Beau Sejour "Meet the Candidates" event on 9 June 2025.

The industries I work in are unrelated to my Wikipedia contributions. If I do edit articles for any clients in the future, I will disclose this here clearly in line with Wikipedia policy.
