rsjaffe, Anthony Bradbury, there were entries on that user talk page prior to the user's self promotion, including a suspicion of sockpuppetry. Per WP:DELTALK the self-promotion should have been reverted rather than the page deleted. Cabayi (talk) 09:41, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

User:Australianblackbelt

Hi Cabayi. You indef'd Australianblackbelt a few weeks back and I think they might be back as Hanshi1953. It could be just a coincidence, but the latter account was created post block and it's pretty much an SPA that is only editing AMAA Who's Who in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame (an article created by Australianblackbelt). Anyway, I was wondering if you could take a look at this a see if any further action (e.g. an SPI) is warranted. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:36, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for flagging your concerns Marchjuly. Hanshi1953's account was created nearly 3 years ago, Hanshi is also struggling with wikilinks, external links, and WP:ELNO which weren't afaik problems Australianblackbelt had. It doesn't look like sockpuppetry to me. If I were you I'd welcome Hanshi and give some pointers on linking. Thanks, Cabayi (talk) 10:09, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
