GONORRHEA

As of 2016, dual therapy is most effective against vast majority of infections (injectable ceftriaxone and oral azithromycin). However, resistance to both of these antibiotics has been increasing globally.

URINARY INCONTINENCE

  • Elaborate on injectable treatments for urinary incontinence

Urethral injectable bulking agents are available and have been used in the treatment of urinary incontinence for over a century. These agents work to narrow the diameter of the urethra and consequently help hold in urine. However, their benefit is unclear due to a lack of scientific data. [1]
