Hi! I tried to de-orphan Koryo International College and I got very confused. The link in the infobox to the website leads to Nagoya University of Commerce and Business but it is not clear to me what the relation is between the two. The japanese Wikipedia article, which I tried to read in machine translation, speaks of a defunct junior college for girls with a quite different name. I gave up. Can somebody please help to clarify? And help to decide what is best here? Would it be better to transform into a redirect? Thanks! Ruud Buitelaar (talk) 00:34, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
- Names are the one thing you should never rely on machine translation for. They're not always translated literally, so the name being different doesn't mean much. Though, I disagree with the translation for the current English article because there was another college it's associated with that should be called Koryo International College (also defunct) and this article you're working on should be the Koryo International College for Women. I'm not sure where the current article name was found or if the original creator made up the translation themselves (normally you'd use an official source, but if there is no official English source...).
- Anyway, the JPN article linked is the right article. The website link leads to Nagoya University of Commerce and Business (NUCB) because Koryo International College (for Women) used to share a campus with the university, though it seems it was independant.
- I honestly question the notability of this Koryo. It no longer exists and I don't see anything notable it really did.
- Edit to add: Using the Wayback machine to look at the website, it does seem they called themselves the Koryo International College in English. Erynamrod (talk) 14:16, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello. Project members are invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It will be held from Monday June 16 - Sunday July 13. There is $3338 going into it, with $500 the top prize. If you are interested in winning some vouchers to help you buy books for future content by improving articles for your country or any other, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for your project, sign up if interested.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:19, 31 May 2025 (UTC)
The stub article on this Japanese book has been tagged as unreferenced for 15 years and 7 months; please add reliable sources, or it risks being deleted. Bearian (talk) 21:33, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

If the 米騒動 article at the Japanese Wikipedia should have a companion here at the English Wikipedia, I think the time is now. I don't know how should it be titled in English, but may I suggest either "Rice price crisis", "Rice shortage crisis", "Rice riot" or "Kome sōdō"?
Accordingly, the Rice riots of 1993 article could be retitled as 1993 Japanese rice price crisis, and the article about the ongoing rice crisis could be titled as the 2024–2025 Japanese rice price crisis. --183.101.53.185 (talk) 10:46, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
There is a discussion on whether to include actors in the Godzilla article. It can be found at Talk:Godzilla (1954 film)#Poster actors. Any input from project members would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 05:14, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
