The Battle of Dombås was fought between Norwegian Army infantry forces and German Fallschirmjäger paratroops in mid-April 1940. Lars Korvald (29 April 1916 – 4 July 2006) was a Norwegian politician from the Christian Democratic Party. He was Prime Minister of Norway from 1972 to 1973, leading the cabinet that took over when Trygve Bratteli resigned in the wake of the first referendum over Norway's membership in the European Economic Community. Haakon Lie (22 September 1905 – 25 May 2009) was a Norwegian politician who served as party secretary for the Norwegian Labour Party from 1945 to 1969. I don't know if anyone is actually watching this notice board, but anyways: Wikimedia Norge, the local Wikimedia chapter for Norway, sends out quarterly newsletters about what's happening (and what has happened) to its members. Until now, these have only been sent out by email to our members, but I have now set up a page so that people can get the newsletter on their talk pages as well, which will hopefully lead to a bit more visibility for our activities, and maybe even get more people engaged who wouldn't otherwise.

You do not have to be a member of Wikimedia Norge at all to receive the newsletter, anyone is free to subscribe. To do so, go to this page on Meta and enter your username and what wiki you would like to receive the newsletter on.
