Wikipedia:Stay uninvolved

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When you take an action that requires you to be uninvolved, such as closing a deletion discussion, you are committing to remaining uninvolved.

The purpose of the uninvolved requirement, is to have an uninterested party make a decision. Your actions cannot be seen as uninterested if you get advance the discussion in a different venue, like a subsequent deletion nomination for the same page, a user talk page, or a discussion about the merits of the discussion at deletion review.
