Australian Nationals leave Coalition with Liberal Party

On Tuesday, May 20, shortly after a federal election, the leader of the National Party, David Littleproud, announced that the party would be ending their century-long partnership with the Liberal Party. The two parties' coalition has previously been the dominant centre-right and right-wing party in Australian politics, opposing the centre-left Labor Party.

Professional baseball is back in Tucson, Arizona, thanks to relocation of Mexican team

On May 20, the Mayos de Navojoa of the Mexican Pacific Winter League (MPL) announced a move to Tucson, Arizona, becoming the first professional baseball team to represent the city in over a decade. They will be playing in the Kino Sports Complex starting in the 2025-26 season, with Tucson to be the first American city to participate in the MPL.
