A hot air balloon crashed in central Turkey on June 15, killing its pilot and injuring nineteen tourists from Indonesia, according to Turkish media. The governor’s office said in a statement that shifting wind conditions had affected the balloon.

June 12, an Air India Boeing 787-8 bound for Gatwick Airport in London crashed into Ahmenabad, Gujarat, northwestern India shortly after takeoff from a nearby airport. It was 1:38 p.m. local time (08:08 UTC).
