Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations: Difference between revisions

This page was a forum where users could request, and global renamers (including Stewards) familiar with local usurpation guidelines, could consider and carry out, the "usurpation" of usernames primarily held locally. This consisted of renaming an existing account in order to vacate the username and allow another user to take it.

This venue is now closed, and any new usurpation requests should be made at meta:Steward requests/Username changes (see meta:Help:Unified login). If you want your account renamed to a name that is still available, please use Special:GlobalRenameRequest or Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple.

TGS is my username everywhere I go and has been since probably 1994 I register it everywhere I use it everywhere I didn't register this username that I know of, if I did I did it and completely forgot about it. Since TGS was taken I registered TeeGeeEss which I use if I can't use TGS in places, but alas forgot my password completely. I do not really want to keep BrianGilliford as thats my real name but its the only other thing I would remember logging in. I checked into the username and as far as I could tell it hasn't been used at all so I would like it as it is my internet identity.

Diti is the username I use everywere, from my Mozilla LDAP account to other Wikimedia Foundation's projects. I plan to make an usurpation request to Wikipedia Spain as soon as this account is renamed (only one edit, my account on ES is DitiTux too). Crom1 doesn't use is account since march 2007 and have only 2 minor edit, which is not really significant. I already use this name significantly on WP:FR and on Commons, and somewhat on WP:EN (plus minor edits on other projects, mainly for intewiki purpose).

"Omgee" is my username of choice for most sites I frequent online, and is far less confusing than my present username. Requesting change for consistency and readability.

No, I dont want to rename RuM to Beren. It is not possible. RuM is an account used on too many wikis and in some cases Beren and RuM both exist on the same wiki.
