I've removed the claims "introduced by Gordon Plotkin in 1977. It is based on the Logic of Computable Functions (LCF) by Dana Scott." from the introduction (which were added by myself a while ago, IIRC). I'm not sure if the Scott's manuscript actually uses the name "PCF" anywhere, or if this was instead introduced by Plotkin or someone else. —Ruud09:47, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
