  9. Persian literature: the section on "contemporary persian literature" needs copyeditting. This section has been added after the article was promoted to GA status. The contemporary section has a lower quality than the rest of the article. Obviously the article is very important part of world literature and particularly Asian literature. Many thanks.   13. Armenian Revolutionary Federation: I and another editor have built up this article from scratch over the last few months. It is now very well researched and cited and i'm thinking of nominating it for FA in the near future. However, since I am not a native speaker of English, I believe it needs help on copyediting for grammar and possibly neutrality. Any help will be very much appreciated.   34. Minneapolis, Minnesota is being readied for FAC, perhaps in May. After a marathon effort to cite what people had posted over the years, followed by successful nomination to GA, we received three comments that transitions and readability need work. Two of those people thought the prose reads like lists, apart from the sections that are necessarily lists.   40. Persian women's movement This article needs a lot of work. From looking at the talk page the article appears to have been translated word for word by a non-native english speaker,leaving all sorts of very obvious grammatical errors.   42. Battle of Arras (1917) — A general proofreading/copyedit is requested - I have been focusing on compiling information, and the prose is probably atrocious. No rush, though. Prose problems have been cited in by several other editors as a major impediment to further advancement, so this is perhaps a little more pressing than I had first thought.   43. LaVeyan Satanism-Its been nominated for FA status, but there are several criteria still not being met, namely as far as references are concerned. Ramón Emeterio Betances - I nominated this for GA, and there are users who think that it might even be past that stage by now... except for a few of its references and its proofreading in English. The references are almost fixed; OTOH Awadewit suggested raising the article to your collective attention. Chris the speller took a good look at it and fixed most typos, and claims the article is pretty decent by now. I'm no native English speaker, but IMNSHO it is almost done.   46. 2006 Falk Corporation explosion needs a good copyedit for neutrality. I originally intended to do it myself, but the task is quite daunting as I'm not a natural copyeditor.   47. University of Oklahoma - This article is a GA and has had one failed FA nomination. There were a couple issues outside the general lack of "brilliant prose" so thats why I'm not listing it in the FAC section below. The other issue is fixing the History section which I plan on tackling in the future. I would appreciate any effort in removing weasel works and academic boosterism and a general, thorough copyedit.   51. Rock Springs Massacre - prior to its March GA nomination this article went through LoCE, since then it has undergone a major overhaul in FAC. Copy editing is essentially the only task left, my eyes have seen a lot of this page and I'm apt to overlook even glaring errors. Shen Kuo, this article on the 11th century Chinese scientist has been given Good Article status, but recently failed Featured Article status because it has many awkward sentences that need to be reworded. Requests for FAC and FAR

Articles should be thoroughly copyedited before being nominated at WP:FAC. If a nomination has progressed to the point that the only outstanding objection is copyedit issues, the article may be listed here. If an article placed at WP:FAR has improved to the point that its only outstanding issue is copyedit concerns, it may also be listed here.

    I've been reading over and over for mistakes, and I have to be honest, I haven't found anything drastically wrong (in grammar at least).   3. Shuttle-Mir Program Currently a FAC, some objections were raised to the article, with most being solved by myself leaving only prose issues for completion. As I have pretty much rewritten the entire article from scratch, a fresh set of eyes would probably make a better job of sorting it than mine, and, as such, a copyedit would be very much appreciated in order to jump this final hurdle.   8. Plymouth Colony: Two reviewers have noted that the article is in need of copyediting. One said that it needed checking for "clunky phrases that could do with some rewording" and another asked for fixing "redundant wording and fuzzy expression" All reviewers have noted that the article meets all other criteria. I have spent 30-40 hours working on this, and thus probably need some help from other editors to bring a fresh perspective to the prose on this one.   2. Albert Einstein Caution: there seems to be small community of heavily invested people living on and around this article. Between 2/28 and 3/13 I got the size way down and some kind of organization going, also checked and standardized the references that were there. The article was so active I couldn't tighten up the language very much - almost any change prompted a reversion or else sentences were added/moved around.
