Autobiography

I, J. D. Redding, (b. February 2, 1973) am a Kansan historian and information technician.

Early years

I am American, having lived in a few place across the United States. I was born in Oakland, California. I am the son of a serviceman. I have an older brother. I and my family has lived, among our longer stays, in Kansas City (Kansas), Fort Carson (Colorado), and Orlando (Florida).

When I was still in elementry shool, I read a biography on Albert Einstein who became one of my personal hero. I went on to read and investigate most of Einstein's life. Other people that I later would hold a high reguard for are Nikola Tesla, James Clerk Maxwell, and William Rowan Hamilton.

I adore history (specifically modern, the middle ages, and ancient history). From this, I studied the history of science (specifically physics, the science of plasma, and a bit of cosmology). I developed a particular fondness for the sports of hacky sack (the footbag game) and North American Football (inparticular, the NFL and Kansas City Chiefs).

In 1991, I attended Emporia State University. I recieved a Bachelor of Science in History (3.0+ cumulative GPA; 3.5+ GPA in core curriculum). I am an alumnus of Sigma Tau Gamma (a Social fraternity) and a member of Pi Gamma Mu (International Honor Society in Social Science).

Later years

I have served at various companies as a Network Designer, Web Designer / Graphic Designer, Technology Lab Coordinator / Computer Assistant, and Inventory Manager. I worked, in the late 1990s, as a software developer. I am proficient with graphics construction and WWW hypertext coding and knowledgeable in the use of graphic and HTML software tools. I have provided excellent customer service and extensive problem resolution.

I have continued to be fascinated about post-modern history and the ongoing speculations about the future social, cultural, and technological trends. Among my interests, internet application development and administration in entrepreneurial environments are high on the list. I have a proclivity towards electronics, robotics (inparticular BEAMbots), and amatuer radio sciences.

Personal factoids and miscelleaneous information

I am a Microserf slave, a Macintoy player, a Linux newbie, mostly a libertarian, vastly ignorant, an empiricist, mostly a "Antifactional Eventual Inclusionist", a sinner, a pervert, mostly harmless, sometimes irritating, sometimes white trash, not a terrorist, not a nazi, not a zionist, and not 31337. I am not a racist, I hate everyone equally. I also am an equal opportunity fucker, everyone should have sex with whomever they want.

"Anyone who has had actual contact with the making of the inventions that built the radio art knows that these inventions have been the product of experiment and work based on physical reasoning, rather than on the mathematicians' calculations and formulae. Precisely the opposite impression is obtained from many of our present day text books and publications." — Edwin H. Armstrong

Peace be unto you
Jesus Christ

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." — Jules Winnfield (Ezekiel 25:17)

Final note and disclaimer

Wikipedia Observation

Idiosyncratic points of view (and, on the other end, general knowledge) are sometimes marginalized, sometimes silenced, or sometimes deleted, not contextualized, in Wikipedia. Since skeptics and pseudoskeptics cannot accept factual writing, this forces honest contributors no platform in this project; those who are still willing to honestly contribute are attacked by the bias of these skeptics and pseudoskeptics. It only takes a few to believe something is wrong to prevent the completion of the proposed goal of Wikipedia. The proposal of Wikipedia of trying to gather what constitutes human knowledge about various subjects is besiged by those that deny and ignore facts and is in constant danger on Wikipedia. Let the reader beware of this and that the disclaimers are heeded.

Sincerely, JDR
